Endicott Research Group (ERG) has been a specialist in power conversion solutions since 1979. Privately owned and operated, ERG is located in Endicott, NY, USA, and has been designing and manufacturing power supplies for display lighting for customers in the USA and around the world for 3 decades. ERG designs and manufactures its own magnetic components, and builds and ships more than one million transformer-based products annually.

Although traditionally focused on creating DC to AC inverters for CCFL-backlit displays, ERG also has extensive experience in EL inverters, DC to DC converters and LED drivers. We originally introduced our Smart Force™ line of LED Drivers to provide full-function power supplies for LED-backlit LCDs, and have now broadened our LED driver capability to offer efficient and economical LED drivers for offline and DC powered solid state lighting applications up to 100W.

ERG Today

Today, ERG offers the world’s most comprehensive cross reference list for LED drivers designed to power OEM LED-backlit displays. The company has hundreds of designs covering more than 100 different LED-backlit displays. In 2009, ERG began leveraging its expertise in LED backlight control to include general solid state lighting applications, and plans to unveil several full-function LED drivers for solid state lighting in 2010. In the ERG tradition, our LED drivers for SSL will surpass customers’ expectations for quality, function, and reliability.
